What are the chances of finding a 5 day corporate event exciting? Very slim! That’s unless it’s being organized by Microsoft and encompasses a whole lot of things right from meeting some of the biggest names – Satya Nadella, Jeff Weiner, Guy Kawasaki (ring a bell?) – to learning a fair deal about running a business and having truly insightful conversations with key partners and startups.

The 2017 Microsoft Startup Roadshow was our destination from April 24th to April 28th as CloudCherry was one of the 15 startups selected to be part of this swashbuckling experience.

The first day kicked off with some much needed swag!

The opening note was delivered by the seasoned Entrepreneur Ravi Narayan where he spoke about the spiritual aspects of building a business.

The icing on the cake on Day 1 was perhaps getting to meet and interact with Satya Nadella, CEO at Microsoft. Satya Nadella re-emphasized just how important startup partners are to Microsoft. And of course, Vinod couldn’t resist taking a selfie!

As you can see here, Vinod was jubilant following his fan-boy moment with Satya Nadella!

Day 2 at the Startup Roadshow saw us converse with some of the largest consumer-facing brands like Starbucks. It was exciting to show big conglomerates how we are striving every day to make the world a more delightful place.

And how could we not celebrate the 5 year anniversary of Microsoft Accelerator. Boat cruise time!

Brownie points for choosing this backdrop, Vinod!

The furore was definitely at its peak when we got the chance to meet Scott Guthrie – tech legend and the man behind Azure! It was one of the best and most insightful sessions we had attended during the event.

And to cap day 3 off in style, Vinod donned the role of a chef – let’s just hope that he made something yummy!

An interesting interview with Linkedin CEO Jeff Weiner by Tzahi Zack Weisfeld was one of the highlights of the final day at the Startup Roadshow.

Then there was the sharp and exuberant Guy Kawasaki explaining what Evangelism is all about. We did get him to do a short Facebook Live video as well!

It doesn’t get any better that Jeff Weiner saying that CloudCherry is an awesome brand name!

Every single day at the Microsoft Startup Roadshow was one memorable experience. Just to meet some of the largest influencers in the world, the Management at Microsoft, and all other key partners and customers at one place was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for us! We’d like to thank Microsoft and the Microsoft Accelerator Program for helping us take another step forward and expand our reach as a brand!
